Me as I crossed/limped over the finish line. Your girl finished at 2:00:21 with a 9:12 pace! First half under my belt!!! Happy week 14, Try-Hards! If you've seen the movie Seven, you'll understand how hard it was for Chelsea not to make a lot of "What's in the boxxxxx?" references this week as she broadcasts from her brand-spanking-new egg-crate-foam-infused home...studio?? In any event, the box has got to go, but luckily your hosts are stickin' around- and this week we're discussing the new-ish phenomenon of "Body Doubling." As it applies to those who struggle with ADHD or neurodivergence, body doubling is a "productivity strategy" used to finish certain tasks or complete work while having someone else present, either virtually (like on YouTube), or in-person while the client works from home. The body double's job is to essentially keep the distracted individual on-task and reduce distraction.  If you listen to the podcast than you all know this is one of the things that I, Sue say so much. Today I helped one of my best friends get some paperwork signed off on, and she is one step closer to defending her thesis and earning her Ph.D.!!!! Lucky 13 is here, Try-Hards (and it releases on a Friday...spooky!). Sue and Chelsea cannot thank you enough for sticking with us thus far. That said, this week is a juicy one, and we'd love your opinion: what is the difference between narcissism and confidence? What behaviors and qualities make someone a true-blue, clinically-diagnosed narcissist, versus someone who is comfortable in their own skin and capable of speaking their mind? Is any of this truly a negative thing? Do exuberant displays of confidence mean that somewhere inside that person is actually very insecure and unhappy?  Up at at 'em!!! That shocked look on your face as you re-read the question likely mirrors the horrified stare Chelsea gave Sue when she threw that out as a possible solution to her ongoing "Battle of the Echo-y Sound." That's right, this week Chels is broadcasting from her tiny-ass closet, and the usual shenanigans ensue.  And we are ALL strong women, in our own unique, powerful, exciting, enticing ways.
